Catching and Cleaning Smelt with Roger's Rigs 2022

After it got Dark on Lake George we switched over from catching Perch & Sunnies to going after Rainbow Smelt. The Zooplankton was so thick that the bite was tough but we still managed to catch a fair number regardless. I wanted to give my old hunting buddy and his wife a treat and Roger was generous enough to give me his haul as well which really was the Lions Share of the Smelt we caught. I also show you how I clean em up and prep em for cooking. Maybe next time I will show you how I cook em up. It was an awesome 10 hour plus day on the ice, sandwiched between two 3 hour drives but I would do it again tomorrow. So much fun and isn't that really what its all about ?
