Do you ever feel that you don't talk to others with the sound, tone, credibility and authority of a "real man?" Having a powerful voice and strong delivery can alone make people see you as a real man. Bring POWER To Your Voice! Download Your Free Tonality Checklist Here: https://goo.gl/25wdf7 In this video, Social Coach Barron Cruz identifies three critical strategies which every man can employ to make himself a commanding and effective communicator: 1) Stand behind your words, literally. Do not slouch or remain physically distant from the person with whom you are speaking. Resist that natural tendency ("honest signal" ) to shrink or diminish your stance. Rather, use the strong upright body posture which reflects your credibility and confidence. Also, use body language in your conversation (gestures, an extended hand when making a point) which further defines you as self-assured and comfortable. 2) Use your voice to its fullest capacity. You do not have to have the voice of James Earl Jones to command respect and attention. Do not mumble with a weak, unsure tone, as this belies your lack of confidence in your own credibility, and in what you are saying. Rather, you need to speak loudly and with strength so that you are heard. And don't tell me your voice can't be loud. Were you able to yell across the playground at your friends, or at the TV when watching your favorite team in a close game? Always speak with the objective to be easily and clearly heard! 3) Many men often sink into the use of a "supplicative" tone of voice, which is weak, demeaning, and comes across as if you are just begging the other person for acceptance. The supplicative tone communicates that you are putting the other person in a higher status than you, and that you are the "weaker partner" in the exchange. Instead, use your voice to its fullest capacity. Speak loudly and confidently, with even a tone of boldness. Make it clear to the other person with a loud, self-assured voice, strong posture, body position and gestures, and a comfortable tone, that you are on equal ground in this discussion and have much valuable to contribute to the conversation.
