Ladies and Gentlemen, fellow RC enthusiasts, and friends, Thank you all for being here to share this special moment with me! Today, I’m thrilled to introduce and take the maiden flight of my brand-new SAB Goblin 570, powered by a 6S setup. For those of you who may not be familiar, SAB Goblin helicopters are well-known in the RC world for their exceptional engineering, aggressive style, and solid in-flight performance. The Goblin 570 model, in particular, is a mid-sized beast with agility and power that can rival even larger helicopters. The combination of the 570's lightweight, the 6S power system, and SAB's distinct design makes it one of the most exciting helis to fly. This helicopter is a fantastic blend of form and function, with a sleek design that’s both aerodynamic and visually striking. Just look at that fuselage—it’s pure SAB style with a beautiful canopy that stands out in any sky. Every detail, from the robust rotor head to the reliable transmission, has been crafted for durability, stability, and precision. Now, moving on to the technical details! This Goblin 570 is equipped with a 6S LiPo battery setup, delivering a nice balance between power and efficiency. It's got the punch to perform dynamic 3D maneuvers but also the finesse to hover with absolute precision. The electronics setup, including servos and ESC, has been carefully chosen to provide smooth control inputs and reliable response. I’ve taken every measure to ensure it's dialed in perfectly for today. Before we take it up for the maiden flight, I’d like to acknowledge everyone who helped me along the way—from the setup gurus who gave me their tips to the friends who cheered me on. Getting to this moment has been a journey, and I'm grateful to be part of a community that shares this incredible hobby. Alright, the moment has come! I’ll be running through a few initial checks on the flight line to make sure everything’s set. Once the blades start spinning, we’ll go through a few initial hovers, checking stability and trim. If everything goes well, we’ll open it up with some gentle maneuvers to really showcase what the Goblin 570 is capable of. I might even throw in a few loops and rolls to see just how dialed-in this setup is. Wow—what an incredible machine! Just from that short flight, I can already feel the precision in each movement. The responsiveness, the power—it’s everything I’d hoped for and more. It handles so smoothly, and the visibility in the air is fantastic.
