A Great Day Out With Bonus Fish! Sea Fishing UK

A bit of South Wales Sea Fishing at one of my favourite Bristol Channel Fishing marks. Having not been out in a few weeks, the withdrawal symptoms were starting to kick in and I just had to wet a line. There's something quite special about the mouth of the River Usk where it joins the Severn Estuary and being next to this piece of water is a great form of mental health therapy. A slow start to the session but then the fish turned on and it became quite busy. Bass, Thornback Ray, Dover Sole, Silver Eel, Flounder, Mullet etc. can all be caught from this mark at this time of the year. Used to be a great winter Cod Fishing spot back in the day.
