The perfectionist in me was so strong with this one. I felt like I couldn't stop tweaking it even when it was basically done for like days on end, and I kept imagining doing fancy stuff with text on screen but then didn't ultimately decide to do anything fancy at all with text on screen, etc etc. I wanted to fit more in than would fit but didn't want scenes to be rushed - I hold myself to a higher standard with Gilmore Girls vids for multiple reasons, because it was my first main vidding fandom and because there are so many talented Gilmore Girls vidders out there these days! But this idea I had within the first couple months of this song's release, early 2021 while I was in the midst of a Gilmore Girls rewatch, while seemingly everyone else was vidding it for Rory/Logan. I knew it would work well for these two but didn't realize just how well until I was inside of editing it! I am pretty proud of the final result and I really hope you all like it! I made my own coloring for this, btw. Please leave me a comment if you enjoyed it! It would mean so much to me to get some feedback! I know Chris was never the most popular Gilmore Girls character, and in fact he's pretty despised by a lot of the fandom but I think I was always sympathetic to his point of view, and I'm likely to vid him again at some point, maybe soon. Christopher with Rory would be a fun full video to make one day but in the meantime I have multiple additional Christopher/Lorelai ideas (I love so much about their chemistry, their story, etc), plus various other Gilmore Girls vidding ideas... a Rory/Jess vid, a serious Lorelai character study, etc etc. I also finally have logoless 1080p HD Widescreen footage of Gilmore Girls with which to make these ideas of mine! Which is so nice after so many years of vidding this show without such luxuries... Oh and sidenote, if you even remotely like this ship, I highly HIGHLY recommend Midnight Hawkins's amazing video "Chris & Lorelai [ paris ]"    • Chris & Lorelai [ paris ]   - what an impressively well edited, FUN, Chris/Lorelai vid, like just damn.
