Here is the down and dirty on the Lowrance Shoot through transducer install. I looked at videos, instructions, and Lowrance’s website on how to properly install this with no results other than the basic no description instructions included. It makes sense to me that you would mimic how it goes onto the trolling motor, so it will display correct on your machine like it would if it were attached to the trolling motor. At the end of the day I’m only using this (like most people) to see depths while I’m running at speed, so I suppose if it’s mounted side way it may not matter. Hope this helps it is in no way a bash at Lowrance I have used and will continue to use their high quality electronics for many years and years to come. But if Lowrance does read these, help the working man that installs their own stuff out and show more in-depth directions.
