Every month the Stauffer Center for Strings welcomes international artists and experts of the music scene to present, as part of the programs of the Stauffer Academy and the Stauffer Labs, unique training courses for young talents and professionals. Through a series of live streaming events, we connect our faculty and students together with the world to create opportunities for discussion and personal growth with the global artistic community and the audience around the world. We are looking forward to bring you inside the Stradivari Room of the Stauffer Center for Strings in Cremona! On Thursday, May 26th, we will stream the second concert to celebrate the end of the Academic Year 21/22. This series of concerts will be performed by the renowned Professors of the Accademia Stauffer and their students. The programmes range from Bottesini, Shostakovich, Schumann, Chausson and Brahms. The concert on May 26h will be performed by selected students of the Stauffer Artist Diploma in string quartet and chamber music held by Quartetto di Cremona. In the program two masterpieces of chamber music: Dimitri Shostakovich's Quartet No. 10 and Robert Schumann's Trio Opus 110. Program: D.
