It is designed for a quick set up simply unhook and open with gas assisted struts to aid you on the way. Integrated Led light, usb points , and ample pockets/ storage allow the comet to be a truly open and go roof tent set up. The Comet roof top tent is ideal for those quick nights away, with simple, quick and easy set up , while still providing shelter around the openings of the tent. With the ability to set the tent up in minutes ( including window rods) you can be ready to crack open a beer in no time! The Canvas is military spec 380gsm/sqm with a perfect blend of cotton and polyester which offers stronger, superior thermal properties over traditional canvases. The canvas is fluorocarbon impregnated for protection against soilage and water ingress through the seams and also prevents wetting through the fabric but most importantly still allows the canvas to breathe. An additional anti-fungal treatment is used to withstand UV and weathering. All seams are double-stitched for added protection. Durability and strength of the canvas will actually improve over time which is why so many of our earliest tents are still being used today. Another benefit is one can mount roof bars (optional extra) on the top for surfboards, solar panels etc. You can also unzip the rear flysheet part for those quick and easy days, along with hard-standing campsites where pegging out isn't an option.
