My kit came with control rods for the ailerons that were too short. I was able to make them work with some bamboo skewers and shrink wrap that I had in my tool box. I know Banana Hobbies would send me new ones if I asked, however I didn't want to wait, and this works fine. The Servos center perfectly and are quite. The ESC is a Hobby Wing unit, and not the standard blitz rc electronics. It works great! I am using a lemon RX DSM2 receiver, and put the gyro on the shelf. I don't need it. I used Turnigy 3S 950 Nanotech batteries, Turnigy nano-tech 950mah 3S 25~50C Lipo Pack. The terminals were replaced with XT30, they seem to work better than the JST connectors. With this battery I am getting about 4 minutes of spirited flying. The plane needed a few grams of nose weight to fly well. If I had used a heavier receiver, and the gyro, that may not have been needed.
