Yes, I realize this is not a scenario this aircraft would ever engage in! New to FS 2024 and the Airbus aircraft, too high, too fast, will take a few more flights before I get the feel. I know it triggers some of you to see flap speeds exceeded and non-standard procedures.... MISSION ACCOMPLISHED! *For those that seek tedious procedural and regulatory adherence... this is not what I'm trying to achieve here! This is MS Flight Sim, NOT rules and regulations sim! Perhaps someday Microsoft will release a version that requires all conceivable mandates to be strictly enforced, until then, those that are "triggered" by the slightest off-schedule, out-of-sequence, or otherwise non-compliant actions should save their suggestions and best-practice tips for those that desire them! I often violate ALL FAA part 91, 121, & 135 rules, actually; make it all of 'Title 14' of the CFR, as I often use slew to go into low earth orbit! When I fly into Europe I make sure to purposely disobey any and all EASA regulations as well!* If you made it this far...."and you are not laughing"..... I may as well tell you that I trashed my FAR/AIM and burned all the checklists for this aircraft (even though there are dozens of variations from numerous airlines, all with their own particular policies and procedures) If you are still not convinced that I am not trying to provide 110% accuracy, then please play one of my many videos and watch as I go out of my way to find every possible opportunity to illicit comments from the sim police! My common violations: Including...but not limited to: Out of sequence start-up! Taxiing without any clearance! Taxiing over rough terrain...on purpose to avoid those pesky paved taxiways! Taking off with a tailwind (exciting!) Taking off into traffic without any sort of run-up or clearance! Taking off without proper flap setting (sometimes I forget, sometimes I do this purposely!) Not following the hemispheric rule when selecting cruising altitudes! Not using the proper thrust modes on climb-out, Go Around or Max Continuous thrust for me! Not using a more economical "COST INDEX" in the FMC, yes; I like to get there fast and I don't care about the fuel cost, or engine stress (its a sim!). Not using SID's or STAR's in the FMC (I don't want to fly for that long! DIRECT please!) Lowering the flaps and getting into the landing configuration way too early (gets 'em every time!) Forgetting to set the landing altitude on pressurization system! Using ILS CAT III AUTOLAND when not even remotely necessary! Landing with a tailwind (very exciting!) Foregoing ALL landing pattern and clearance instructions from ATC! I sometimes land on the active with head-on traffic (just keeping it real!) *Did I forget something?
