Containing our RUNAWAY TODDLER in THIS?! & Fixing our TRASH TRAILER!

Our son Randall, is PRONE to running away. And with him being our first, it was a surprise to us when we realized that he could run down the road AND get lost in the woods! We couldn't count on FOUR HANDS how many times we've had to run him down to make sure he didn't get hit by a SPEEDING car or follow a deer trail in the woods and just keep running. And with me (Liz) being 22 weeks pregnant at this point, it's getting harder and harder to chase him down and carry him ALL the way back home. So we built this place for him to stay in while we work on the necessary things on our checklist that need to be done BEFORE we move into our camper... INCLUDING renovating said camper! I mentioned it in the video but I'll also say it here. HE IS SUPERVISED AT ALL TIMES WHILE HE IS IN HERE. AND WE'VE TAKEN THE NECESSARY PRECAUTIONS TO MAKE SURE HE DOESN'T GET HURT! Just wanted to point that out for everyone who may think we're poorly treating our son by sticking him in here. We also got to take a day last weekend and completely renovate our hauling trailer! Charles loved his first week of work but couldn't WAIT to get his hands on a homestead project. We decided to redo the trash trailer because we sorta need it to, well, haul off trash AND take off the crap that we tear out of the camper. There's a lot of trash on this property and there will soon be more as we declutter the homestead and start to move out. We're super happy that we got this project done and can't wait to start cleaning up and renovating the camper. Tune un next week for some camper renovations! Also, I wanted to apologize for the somewhat boring content that we've been putting out recently. A LOT of to-do's on our checklist (before we move) IS cleaning up and renovating... EVERYTHING! I try to put as much homesteading clips that I can in these videos but have honestly been fighting an inner demon about posting too much of our animals and other homestead things... and that demon is how messy, disgusting, and unsatisfying our property is overall. I hate posting footage on the inside of our house and most of the outside of the property because of this. Once we move, I'm 100% sure I'll get better with it and more confident in our home so we can post more about homesteading. We have many ideas for this channel and I can't wait to make those videos into reality!! And of course, thank y'all for watching!
