This is an 'in-action' video of most of the lines operated by the Chicago Transit Authority, featuring four locations. The first stop is Adams/Wabash - in the downtown Loop. Green, Orange, Pink, and Brown line trains serve this station (and Purple line expresses in the AM/PM peak). We also see an Orange Line service and a not-in-service movement with Budd series trains - most of these are now being retired. Most of the survivors are found on the Blue Line (not shown in this video). Next comes Armitage - located on the Brown Line with Red Line trains flying past North to Fulton, and South into the State Street Subway. Again Purple Line express trains serve this station in the PM peak. After this is Belmont - the primary interchange point between the Brown, Red and Purple Line trains. Our Finally station is Howard - the terminus of the Red and Yellow Line trains. Purple Line terminates here too - though express services continue to downtown Chicago in peak periods. The Budd 2600 series (2601-3200) were built between 1981 and 1987. The Morrison-Knudsen 3200 (3201-3457) series were built between 1992 and 1994, with the more modern Bombardier 5000 (5001-5714) series built since 2008. This video was filmed between December 6th and 7th, 2016; using a Canon PowerShot Elph 130 IS point-and-shoot. Edited and processed in Pinnacle Studio 15.
