Jurors in the trial over a former school police officer's response to the 2022 mass shooting at a Texas elementary school saw a digital map reenactment of the gunman's and officers' movements today. The animation was shown during the testimony of Nick Hill, a lieutenant with the Texas Department of Public Safety. Bill Turner, who is prosecuting Adrian Gonzales for 29 counts of child endangerment, questioned Hill in direct-examination today (Friday, January 16, day 8 ). The animation uses surveillance video to track the shooter's movements, represented by a red circle, and shows the paths of officers and other individuals, marked by blue lines. Sounds from 911 calls, radio traffic, and body cameras are included.
