Since Monday, trucks carrying goods from both Uganda and Kenya are stuck at the Busia border point between the two countries as either are not allowed access to the other side. The minister of energy and mineral development Mary Goretti Kitutu says the blockade is a result of a misinterpretation of President Museveni’s directive barring entry and exit of foreigners and Ugandans.
