I actually won my 1v1. No third party. No teammate bailing me out. Just me and a confused default skin who probably unplugged their controller halfway through. From there, the vibes were immaculate. Comms were clean. Rotations were smart. For once, I wasn’t 200 meters behind saying, “Wait up guys, I’m looting minis.” I was in the fight. I was cracking shields. I was finishing knocks. I even called out a flank that saved Picklenator from getting sent back to lobby simulator. Mid-game got sweaty. A team tried to gatekeep zone, but we slid in together like we rehearsed it. Boogie laid down pressure, Picklenator beamed the height player, and I — yes, ME — hit a clutch shotgun shot to secure the knock that swung the fight. I’m not saying I carried.
