The quite stunning "Dream" sculpture by Jaume Plensa, in Sutton Manor Woodland, Sutton, UK..

"Dream" is a sculpture and a piece of public art by Jaume Plensa in Sutton, St Helens, Merseyside. It sits on the grouns of the former Sutton Manor coal mine, which is now Sutton Manor Woodland. Costing approximately £1.8m, it was funded through The Big Art Project in coordination with the Arts Council England, The Art Fund and Channel 4. My visit corresponded with Storm Lilian and so I left my drone in my bag (oh, and it was raining on and off). Such a shame as it would have been great to view this stunning monument from the air and give a persepective on the scale of the site. Parking: I parked on Bell Lane which is the closest point with road side parking, to one of the pedestrian access points GPS: 53.41040, -2.72878.
