Welcome back to The ConnectED podcast. I am thrilled to bring you an extraordinary collection in which some incredible students take the driver’s seat and host dynamic conversations with professionals from across the higher education sector, discussing the vital topic of Student Belonging. This series, titled “Voices of Belonging”, embodies the principle of “nothing for them without them,” ensuring that the voices and experiences of students are at the forefront of these important discussions. In today's episode Louise Salter, a final year Speech & Language Therapy, is hosting a conversation with Gillian Melville. Gillian is an employment and immigration law specialist, who has been working as a supervising solicitor at Strathclyde Law Clinic for ten years. Strathclyde Law Clinic is part of the University of Strathclyde Law School and is a legal advice service which gives legal support and representation to those in the community who would not otherwise have access to it. If you enjoyed this episode, please check out the rest of our extraordinary “Voices of Belonging” collection and stay Connected.
