Yet another 50 lap race but this time it's in the new E karts! Although the karts will technically cover 50 laps+ on a single charge they will take over an hour to charge back up once the race is over. This is the first session of the day so to avoid 17 karts been taken out of action for an hour there is a mandatory pit stop to change karts around halfway through the race. I got undercut and basically lost the race in my stop through some quick thinking by another member, David who pitted under yellows and saved a bunch of time. I was faffing around with my seat and pedals during the stop too which put me out behind him. Still good fun and the boost button is fantastic! You can use it to defend or overtake. I was playing around looking for the ideal places to deploy it and I think I found a good balance having set a new personal best of 38.308.
