We'll talk about how we made our decisions and the important factors to consider in selecting a law school: Outcomes (bar passage and employment rates) Location (where you go to law school will likley be where you start your career) Cost (balance the investment versus the outcomes) Culture (how happy and supported will you be) No need to RSVP, just tune in. We look forward to talking to you Thursday, February 21, 2019 at 2 p.m. Eastern! Antonia Edwards ‘19–I’m from Albany, New York and attended Siena College. I have been the Executive Director of the Public Interest Center for the past two years and am the Executive Affairs Editor of the ABI Law Review. I’ve been on the Public Interest Center Spring Break pro bono trips and worked in the Consumer Justice for the Elderly Litigation Clinic. Post-graduation, I’ll be working at the New York City Law Department in the Family Court Division in the Juvenile Delinquency Unit. Nicole Camacho ’20-I'm from Puerto Rico and attended Pace University where I received my BBA in Finance. I’m a Staff Member for the St. John's Law Review, Teaching Assistant to Professor Kate Levine, and Vice President of the Latin American Law Student Association (LALSA). I've also had the opportunity to participate in the Public Interest Center Pro Bono Trip to San Antonio, TX, as well as work in one of our in-house clinics. Last year I was awarded the New York City Bar Association Diversity Fellowship and had the opportunity to work at Jones Day during the summer, where I will be going back for the summer internship in 2019. Charles Akinboyewa ‘19–I’m from Bowie, MD and attended Syracuse University. At St. John's, I'm the Vice President of the Black Law Students Association, an Articles & Notes Editor on the American Bankruptcy Institute Law Review, and a Teaching Assistant for Legal Writing and Introduction to Law. Also, last semester I gained great experience as a Student Intern in the Securities Arbitration Clinic. The last two summers, I’ve been fortunate to work as a Summer Associate at Shearman & Sterling LLP (Summer 2018) and a Legal Intern at Morgan Stanley (Summer 2017). Looking forward, I’m excited to finish the semester with my classmates, sit for the bar exam, and start as an Associate at Shearman in the fall.
