He teaches that those who lack wisdom should ask God in faith without doubting, for the "one who doubts is like a wave of the sea that is driven and tossed about by the wind". -The Responsorial Psalm (Ps 119): A plea for divine mercy: "Be kind to me, Lord, and I shall live". -The Holy Gospel (Mark 8:11-13): The Pharisees come forward to argue with Jesus, seeking from Him a sign from heaven to test Him. Jesus sighs from the depths of His spirit, asking, "Why does this generation seek a sign?" before departing by boat to the other shore. May this heavenly care and the Sacred Mysteries we celebrate today restore us to holiness and help us on our journey to eternal salvation.
