One year later, he released "Glo Ko Ko" which in 2012 was featured on Don's Collector 4 alongside Bunji Garlin and Machel Montano; the only regional artistes on the Paris, France produced compilation. That same year Mongstar also released "Saint Lucia We Love" -- a song that highlighted all we seek to promote in the simply beautiful country we call home. This year, the Saint Lucian story is personal. On "Nationality", Mongstar gives you a glimpse into his past, present and future musical ambitions vowing, "Nobody can block my goal." Nationality is written by Marley James and Courtney "Curty" Louis who also produced it for Dutch Productions/Stratosphere Muzic alongside Satish Mathurin. It begins with a clear message of intent -- this is an appeal to all, "Saint Lucians why we caan come together/ Why we always apart?" But in addition to calling for unity, "Nationality" also makes a real case for the celebration of Saint Lucian music and artistes. In highlighting others who blazed the Soca trail like Invader and Ricky T, Mongstar also calls on local radio to step up, "Back home put on my radio swear I in Jamaica/ when will this stop?" while also making it clear -- the future of Soca music lies in the hands of Saint Lucia and its producers, "Lucian Soca taking over/We doh watch face/Dutch Productions/big up Leebo, Penn and Ace." "Nationality" also highlights our sporting heroes Darren Sammy and Leverne Spencer and the impact their story can have on future stars, "I am a winner/a winner/Every year I giving them songs like Darren Sammy giving them runs/ I am a winner/ tell them I don't need no crown cuz I'm the people's champion/ I am a winner/a winner/Tell them they cannot hold me down/I jumping high like Levern Spencer." Representing for his country, flag, people and fans, Mongstar vows to "do what I must to make sure I bust/I love my country bad" so Lucians "Where you dere?/this is our "Nationality".
