Utilizing the strongest available steel and a proven I-Beam design Manley I Beam connecting rods are one of our favorite rod choices when it comes to high horsepower engine builds. I Beam connecting rods are more expensive than H Beams, but they offer increased peace of mind. Knowing that your bottom end is rock solid and built to last. and Not having to limit your cars power in order to maintain reliability. These two things will make you and your tuners lives much less stressful and truly allow for you to enjoy your new power, rather than being afraid of it. There are many different types of I Beam rods on the market today, but we prefer to use Manley in our own builds. Manley incorporates a unique clover leaf design into their Turbo Tuff Rods for all forced induction applications. This creates superior strength on the big end of the rods, which is where we commonly see stress and fatigue. This clover leaf design also helps keep the big end of the rod from stretching and helps combat spun bearings better than other rods currently available. The Manley Pro Series I-BEAM rod has become the benchmark for high end connecting rods in the performance industry. Manley Pro Series connecting rods are forged from aircraft quality 4340 steel. Each rod is shot peened after machining and magnafluxed. Bores are round and without taper. Bend and twist is tightly controlled. 3/8" ARP 2000 rod bolts are included or you can upgrade to ARP 625+ fasteners for an additional cost.
