It is something that has been part of my family for generations Abruzzo Is the greenest region of Europe filled with lots of spring mountains such as the gran sasso mountain range. And to the east you the Adrica Sea glistening at you. One thing Abruzzo is famous for is for its delicious, rustic cooking. Today I will show you my family’s Christmas tradition. This is Timballo “which is pretty much a lasagna made with crepes. In stead of the traditional pasta sheets, lace thin crepes are made called “Scripelle.” This lasagna recipe is from the Teramo Region.
