(Filmed April 2, 2025) After the catching the z-train, I came here to Swain Road after hearing that a southbound BNSF grain train (symbol G-SWEFRS) was coming my way and that it had a rainbow lash-up consisting of a Canadian National leader, a Fakebonnet trailing third, and a CP and another CN as 2 of the 3 rear DPUs. It wasn’t a long wait before it got to me, and it thankfully didn’t need to stop at Hammer Lane as it got signals to continue to Mormon Yard. This was obviously an awesome catch to end my day, but it had to end unfortunately with a guy passing me on his bike asking me if I was “filming traffic”. I'm looking at him like how you didn't acknowledge that I was filming the train. It’s so obvious smfh. I tell you; some folks out there have no common sense anymore. They just assume I'm not filming and start talking not even realizing that their voices are being picked up by the camera's audio. Despite this, I remained calm and regrouped afterwards. This crossing owned by Union Pacific is a mixed install with the cantilevers being a UP mid to late 1990s install with their lights being the changes. The cantilever gated masts and close median signal are UP early 2010s installs. The far median signal is a UP early 2020s install.
