On 11th November 2025, Kath Bransby from Waldorf UK spoke on the topic: ‘How parent-friendly is Waldorf?’ Look forward to an exciting 75 minutes lecture and discussion with Kath Bransby and various participants from around the world. About the fifth International Campus Waldorf: This time, we are focusing on taking a closer look at Waldorf education in its educational, social and cultural context,’ explains Prof. Dr. Jost Schieren, initiator of the ICW and professor of Waldorf education at Alanus University. 'The aim is not only to present the concept of Waldorf education, but also to critically examine the reality of how it is lived: What does Waldorf education actually achieve? Where does it need to develop further? And what current challenges does it face?' The International Campus Waldorf sees itself as a global online classroom. Every autumn, internationally renowned scientists and practitioners report on their research and school practice. All students, teachers, parents and interested parties who would like to explore the opportunities and challenges of Waldorf education are invited to attend. Participation is free of charge via Zoom. The lectures are held in English and are subsequently made available on the ICW website: https://www.international-campus-wald... If you have any further questions about the lecture, please contact icw@alanus.edu. Next time Sven Saar will talk about: 'How traditional is Waldorf?'
