After Vlad was diagnosed with an uncommon tumor of the appendix that had spread throughout his abdomen, he needed a complex surgery that was not offered in the state of Nevada until recently. Dr. Matthew Selleck, renowned surgical oncologist at Las Vegas Complex Surgical Specialists performed the 13-14 hour procedure to remove the tumor and cancer cells in the abdomen.
