Weathering the Winter Storms and Deep Snow | Lake Effect Snow | Keweenaw Peninsula

Weathering the winter storms in the land of lake effect snow can be a challenge. The winter season is filled with so much deep snow and winter magic. The snow gets deep in the Keweenaw. February arrived and so did the snow. It snowed for many days and Mother Nature brought us over 50 new inches of fresh snow. It was so beautiful to see so much snow come down and cover the ground and trees like a warm blanket. However behind the beauty there needs to be the brawn. With so much snow on the roof of the house there were many days that Randy was up on the roof shoveling massive amounts of snow. After so many days of snow and below zero temperatures the clouds disappeared and the sun finally came out. It felt so good so we headed outside to enjoy the wild beauty of the season. We were able to get the drone up as there wasn't too much wind and we took some video of the beautiful blue winter sky. There are some links below to watch more of our videos. Enjoy!
