Today we're walking in the Old City of Chiang Mai. Chiang Mai is the largest city of Northern Thailand. It used to be the capital of the Lanna Kingdom many hundred years ago, and to this day you can still see many old structures, ruins and temples from that time. The Old City is a perfect square surrounded by a moat remnants of the old city wall. Within the Old City there are many beautiful temples, old townhouses, Lanna style houses, cosy side streets, interesting cafes, and beautifully restored and newly build hotels. We take a walk through some of the streets and look at a few highlights. There is a lot to see and one could spend several days in the Old City alone. Chiang Mai might be my favorite city and I highly recommend anyone visiting Thailand to visit Chiang Mai. 📍 https://maps.app.goo.gl/rNysMFn9k6mEh...
