A Creek You Should Fish! Trifecta Again.

We are making our way across Pennsylvania fishing Iconic fisheries and some of the lesser known fisheries you should fish. This trout creek fits the latter. I heard about a smaller creek in Lancaster that drew my attention and I went to fish it, because that's what we do. In this video we fished Donegal Creek. The creek is a wild trout fishery that holds wild trout. A spring-fed creek by the way of Donegal Springs, this limestoner which at first glance looks like a free-stoner, holds an abundance of trout. Approximately 8-16 feet in width with an average depth of 1.5 ft. it is small but packed with fun. The Donegal Fish and Water Association has done a tremendous job of ensuring the wild brown trout are happy and healthy. A gracious landowner allows for us fly fisherman to enjoy this small freestoner and the wild brown trout it holds.
