A nice gentle walk around Parwich, a picturesque village located in the Derbyshire Dales, within the Peak District National Park in England. Parwich has a long history, with evidence of human settlement dating back to the Bronze Age. The village is mentioned in the Domesday Book of 1086, indicating its existence during the Norman conquest. The area has remnants of ancient barrows and Roman roads. The village is characterized by its traditional limestone cottages, many of which have been preserved and maintained to retain their historical charm. A beautiful walk!
