A Fijian inculturation of a Bible procession.

Seen here is a Fijian procession of the Book of the Gospels in the context of a Holy Mass. The Mass was presided by Pope Benedict XVI in Sydney to close the week-long World Youth Day in 2008. The young men in traditional dance and attire escorting the sacred book are seminarians of the Pacific Regional Seminary in Suva. The men & women chanting are (as per the narrator) parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish, Levuka. The procession ends when, then seminarian, Karalo Etueni Rasiosateki (now Rev. Fr.
