DANGAMVURA, MUTARE

Dangamvura is a suburb in Mutare located just outside the city. It is classed as a high density suburb with a large number of Mutare's population living there. There are a few well-known schools in Dangamvura, where some of the most prominent people in Mutare attended. Including Dangamvura High School, where most of the children in the video, in uniforms, are coming from. Dangamvura has grown tremendously over the years. And it's is clear from the video that it has not been properly serviced. The roads are bad (just like all the non-major roads in Zimbabwe), and electricity shortages continue to affect this area. But Dangamvura continues to be a place people choose to live. The rentals are very cheap, and its proximity to the city allows for an easy commute for residents. I hope that with time and the right leadership, more can be done to develop Dangamvura. And give the residents a pleasant existence...
