Atiq Ahmed Shootout: उत्तर प्रदेश के प्रयागराज में अतीक अहमद और उसके भाई अशरफ अहमद की पुलिस और मीडिया की मौजूदगी में 15 अप्रैल की रात हत्या कर दी गई. इसके बाद से यूपी पुलिस पर कई सवाल उठ रहे हैं. इनमें एक सवाल ये भी है कि आखिर पुलिस ने गोली क्यों नहीं चलाई. चलिए आपको इसके पीछे का कारण बताते हैं. दरअसल, मीडियाकर्मी बनकर पहुंचे तीन युवकों ने अतीक और अशरफ अहमद पर अचानक गोलीबारी कर दी थी. उनमें से एक ने पहली गोली अतीक की बाईं कनपटी में दागी, जबकि दूसरे ने अशरफ को गोली मारी. महज 22 सेकंड तक गोली चली और दोनों का खेल खत्म हो चुका था. दोनों की हत्या उस वक्त की गई जब जब प्रयागराज के कॉल्विन हॉस्पिटल से पुलिस दोनों का रूटीन हेल्थ चेकअप करा कर लौट रही थी. जब इस मसले को लेकर एक पुलिसकर्मी से पूछा गया कि आखिर पुलिस ने इन लोगों पर गोली क्यों नहीं चलाई? एक पुलिसकर्मी ने कहा कि पुलिस को रिएक्ट करने का समय ही नहीं मिला. जब तक समझ पाते कि अचानक क्या हुआ तक तक फायरिंग रुक गई थी. हालांकि, गोलीबारी रुकते ही तीनों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया गया था.
