Hello in this video I bring you along my process of selling my valuables in Utah through varies apps. In the middle of it, I decided to try out this really good app Mercari. I put my couch and bicycle down for sale and instantly got a offer, or what I thought was an offer. Three hours later I’m balling my eyes out and am short of $1200. Looking back I see all the red flags and I hate myself for it. I always look for the best in people and this is what I get for it. Unfortunately I don’t have the time or energy to get my money and pride back so I’ve moved past this ages ago. Thankfully I’m financially able to handle a hit like that and learn from it for the future. I did get scammed through Mercari app. Doesn’t mean it’s a bad website to use to sell your stuff. It was the people on there that tricked me. I do wish Mercari could alert new users of the possible scams. I did send them a email suggesting that. To be honest, it’s a great app. Better than leading competitors. If you are ever scammed on the internet, I hope you know it’s okay. It happens to all of us and there’s nothing wrong with us. Those people scamming us are the problem. They are the pest in this world. Only taking and never giving. I believe in karma and know that whoever scammed me, something’s coming for them.
