Brooklands Heritage Area Walk

The circular Brooklands Heritage Area trail starts at Weybridge Station. If you are coming by car there is free parking in the Community Park across from the Tesco's Supermarket in the Heritage area. Whilst much of the original track has been removed there is still a great deal of modern British History to discover here at the Brooklands Museum, and the London Bus Museum. The walk to, from the Station and around Brooklands takes approximately 1 hour 30 minutes if you bypass the Heritage Area attractions. The walk is a pilgrimage to British manufacturing of aircraft, cars and motor cycles in the 20th Century. Probably the best time to visit Brooklands is at the weekend and when the Museum is holding an event of which there are many throughout the year. Check out the Brooklands Museum website for details. In addition the Mercedes Benz World has a permanent exhibition of F1 racing cars and fun drive facilities on the racing track and the off-road track. Both the Museum and Mercedes Benz World have F1 simulators.
