Musical journey of Pt.Anup Ghosh since his childhood. Anup Ghosh : Born into an arsc family in Kolkata . Anup took his initial training inTabla from famous Tabla Player Pandit Radha Kant Nandy of West Bengal .Since 1975 Anup has been the student of great Tabla maestro Pandit Shyamal Bose of Farrukhabad Gharana . In 1981 he was awarded The Senior National Scholarship in Tabla from the Ministry of Culture , Govt. Of India . Anup has taken part all the major Classical Music Conference all over the country like : Swami Haridas Sangeet Sammelan at Vrindaban , Harballav SangeetSammelan at Jallundhar , Tansen Sangeet Samaroh at Gwalior , Saptak Sangeet Sammelan at Ahmedabad , Swai Gandharv Sangeet Sammelan At Pune , Sankat Mochan at Varanasi , Mahakal Sangeet Samaroh at Ujjain ,Bhuvneswar Music Circle in Orissa , Sangeet Natak Academy Festival ,Festival of India conducted by ICCR , Spic Macay Virasat Festival , Shankar Lal Festival in Delhi , Ustad Hafiz Ali Khan Sarod Festival , Maharishi Music Festival , Uttarpara Sangeet Chakra in Kolkata , Jhankar Music Circle In Kolkata , Ram Krishna Mission Cultural Centre at Kolkata , Pracheen Kala Kendra in Chandigarh , Prayag Sangeet Samity in Allahabad and many moreas an accompanist with eminent Vocal and Instrumental Artists of our country . Also took part in major music festivals in abroad organized by  Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR ),Govt. Of India like Festival of Russia ,Sweden , Thailand , Maxico and Latin American Countries , Japan ,Maurius , Jedda , Riyad , Abu Dhabi ,Spain ,Estonia , Poland and Many Universities in abroad . Anup has visited more than sixty five countries allover the world to give his Tabla performances . Anup has accompanied with almost all eminent artists of our country in public concerts in India ,abroad , National Program of AIR and DD also in Akashvani Sangeet Sammelan . He also took part in many prestigious concerts of National Orchestra of AIR . Anup has given his Solo Tabla recital in the National Program of AIR . He has awarded Senior Fellowship from Ministry Of Culture , Govt. of India . Anup is a visiting Faculty member of Maharishi University of Management , IOWA , USA . Anup has a number of CDs in his credit as an accompanist with eminent Artists which has released in India and  in abroad too .Anup has been associated with All India Radio, Delhi as Staff Artist for 27years . Pandit Anup Ghosh is a "TOP" grade artist of All India Radio an d Door Darshan also he is an author of the Book " Tabla of Farrukhabad Gharana".
