This is the 43rd in a series of videos geared toward the person who has never worked with CAD or CAM in the Vectric Software before. In this video, I’ll demonstrate 3 of the Combine Modes for 3D Models in VCarve Desktop, VCarve Pro, and Aspire. I’ll show you the 3 ways to select a model, then how to access the Combine Mode to make adjustments, using the Right-Click Context Menu, and the Component Properties window. We’ll then get into the difference between the Add and the Subtract Combine Modes using a piece of clipart from the Vectric Clipart Library. Next, using 2 pieces of clipart, I’ll show you the difference between Add, Subtract, and Merge, when it comes to how components interact with one another. Then I’ll show you a couple of different ways to use multiple pieces of clipart, Adding some, Merging others within the Component Tree, to get the desired result.
