This sacred prayer is recited as an expression of deep trust (tawakkul) in Allah, seeking abundant provision (rizq), life prosperity, inner stability, and divine sufficiency in all affairs. The term “Awtad” refers to the spiritual pillars—hidden saints who, by Allah’s permission, uphold balance, mercy, and stability in the world. Through this hizb, the heart is gently reminded that true abundance flows from reliance upon Allah alone, not from effort without surrender. This recitation is traditionally read during moments of uncertainty, financial hardship, or when seeking barakah in livelihood, family, and daily life. It is also practiced as a nightly dhikr to cultivate calmness, gratitude, and spiritual grounding. 🕊️ Sacred Dhikr Text (Hizb al-Awtad) بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحْيْمِ In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful. يَا الله يَا عَلِيُّ يَا عَظِيْمُ يَا حَلِيْمُ يَا عَلِيْمُ. O Allah, O Most High, O Most Great, O Forbearing, O All-Knowing. أَنْتَ رَبِّيْ وَعِلْمُكَ حَسْبِيْ فَنِعْمَ الرَّبُّ رَبِّيْ وَنِعْمَ اْلحَسْبُ حَسْبِيْ، تَنْصُرُ مَنْ تَشَاءُ وَأَنْتَ اْلعَزِيْزُ الرَّحِيْمُ. You are my Lord and Your knowledge is sufficient for me. How excellent a Lord is my Lord, and how excellent a sufficiency is my sufficiency. You grant victory to whom You will, and You are the Mighty, the Merciful. نَسْاَلُكَ الْعِصْمَةَ فِي الْحَرَكَاتِ وَالسَّكَنَاتِ وَالْكَلِمَاتِ وَالْإِرَادَاتِ وَالْخَطَرَاتِ، مِنَ الشُّكُوْكِ وَالظُّنُوْنِ وَالْأَوْهَامِ السَّاتِرَةِ لِلْقُلُوْبِ عَنْ مُطَالَعَةِ الْغُيُوْبِ. We ask You for protection in our movements and stillness, in our words and desires and thoughts, from doubts and suspicions and delusions that veil the hearts from beholding the unseen. اَللهُ الْكَافِيْ رَبُّنَــــا الْكَافِيْ ۞ قَصَدْنَا الْكَافِيْ وَجَدْنَا الْكَافِيْ Allah is Sufficient, our Lord is Sufficient ۞ We intended the Sufficient, we found the Sufficient لِكُلٍّ كَافٍ كَفَانَــا الْكَافِيْ ۞ وَنِعْـــمَ الْكَافِيْ اَلْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ For everything sufficient, the Sufficient has sufficed us ۞ And how excellent the Sufficient, all praise be to Allah حَسْبُنَـــا اللهُ وَنِعْـــمَ الْوَكِيْلُ ۞ نِعْـــمَ الْمَوْلَى وَنِعْـــمَ النَّصِيْرُ Allah is sufficient for us, and how excellent a Guardian ۞ How excellent a Master and how excellent a Helper وَكَفَى اللهُ الْمُؤمِنِيْنَ الْقِتَالَ ۞ وَكَفَى اللهُ الْمُؤمِنِيْنَ الْقِتَالَ And Allah sufficed the believers in fighting ۞ And Allah sufficed the believers in fighting آمِينْ آمِينْ آمِينْ آمِينْ ۞ اٰمِيْن يَا اَللّٰه رَبَّ العَــــالَمِيْنَ Amen, amen, amen, amen ۞ Amen, O Allah, Lord of the worlds سُبْحَانَ رَبِّكَ رَبِّ اْلعِزَّةِ عَمَّا يَصِفُوْنَ. وَسَلَامٌ عَلَى الْمُرْسَلِيْنَ وَالْحَمْدُ لِلّٰهِ رَبِّ الْعَالَمِيْنَ فيِ كُلِّ لَحْظَةٍ أَبَدًا، عَدَدَ خَلْقِهِ وَرِضَى نَفْسِهِ وَزِنَةَ عَرْشِهِ وَمِدَادَ كَلِمَاتِهِ. Glory be to your Lord, the Lord of Might, above what they describe.
