🔧 One of the rarest cars ever built — discovered abandoned, oxidized, and structurally cracked — brought back to complete factory specification across 80 phases of uncut ASMR POV restoration. This is the full documentary of a 1961 Aston Martin DB4 GT Zagato rescue and rebuild: every chemical strip, every hand-formed aluminum repair, every TIG weld, every engine component, every drop of Freshwater Green lacquer — filmed in 4K POV at craftsman eye level with no narration, no music, and no cuts. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🚗 ABOUT THIS CAR ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Only 19 original DB4 GT Zagatos were built between 1960 and 1963 — hand-formed aluminum bodies over tubular steel spaceframes, coachbuilt by Carrozzeria Zagato in Milan to Aston Martin's specification. Each one left Newport Pagnell as a purpose-built racing machine. This example was finished in Aston Martin factory Freshwater Green — a complex, slightly muted British racing green with warm olive undertones unique to this color code. When found, the aluminum body carried: • A 12cm longitudinal stress crack through the left rear haunch • Decades of aluminum oxide across every panel surface • A seized, varnished twin-cam engine with a blown head gasket • Completely collapsed tan leather interior • A missing section of chrome windshield surround trim — retained unrestored as provenance Every repair decision in this build was made with the car's identity in mind. What could be corrected was corrected. What could not — or should not — be removed was left exactly as found. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🎧 POV ASMR — WHAT TO EXPECT ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ The camera is mounted at craftsman eye level throughout. You see exactly what he sees — no third-person angles, no cutaways. His hands appear in frame for every task. No background music. No voiceover. No post-production sound effects. Every sound is the actual sound of the work: aluminum filing, TIG arc, rubber seal compression, carburetor ticklers, the rebuilt inline-six firing for the first time in decades. Best experienced with headphones. Full volume. ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ 🔔 SUBSCRIBE ━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━ Full restoration documentaries released monthly.
