If anyone has a better, more complete version of this episode, please let me know. I'm happy to digitize VHS tapes or rip from DVDs.] The following morning, Michael shows up at Gabrielle’s house. Gabrielle shows him this morning’s headline in The Banner about Viki going missing and asks him what he knows about it. Michael recounts the events of the previous evening. Gabrielle tells Michael if Viki dies, he’ll be guilty of murder. Michael comforts Gabrielle and says he’s sure Viki will survive. When Gabrielle goes to deal with Al, Michael notices the costume he wore the previous evening is now missing the Eterna pin; he realizes Viki must have taken it. He asks Gabrielle to hold onto the disguise and hide it for him. At the hospital, Larry meets with Alicia and confirms she is pregnant. Larry introduces Alicia to Brenda, who is cold to Alicia because of how Michael treated Max and Steve. Later, at the Waterside Inn, Michael meets Alicia for breakfast, and a jealous Gabrielle interrupts them, mid-kiss. Alicia tells Gabrielle they are expecting their first child. On Llantano Mountain, Roger finally spots Viki. He carries her back to the cabin where he tries to treat her hypothermia by removing her wet clothes. He’s unable to get her body temperature up with just blankets, so he gets under the blanket with her and holds her close to try and share his body heat. As Viki begins to come around, we see a memory or vision of a young Viki and a young man holding each other in a similar fashion in a mountain meadow. Clint and Cord find footprints in the snow and surmise that Roger must have found Viki. Clint heads back to the cabin while Cord goes to alert the rescue teams. Roger finds Michael’s Eterna pin in Viki’s hand, and wonders how she got it. When Clint returns, they are able to get Viki transferred over to a medical team. Roger stays behind to put out the fireplace, and muses to himself that the Eterna pin—an object he clearly recognizes—must mean someone is looking for the lost city.
