Our Guimaras adventure was a day filled with beautiful sights, delicious food, and lots of shopping! Known for its sweet mangoes, this small island didn’t disappoint as we explored its hidden gems and popular spots. ⛪️ Trappist Monastery, a serene and peaceful place run by monks. It's a great spot to take a moment to reflect, but it’s also famous for its delicious homemade products. We couldn’t resist picking up some mango jams, jellies, and other treats made by the monks. The atmosphere here is so calming, it’s easy to see why people love visiting. 🏝️ Alobijod Cove, a beautiful beach with clear waters and soft sands. It's the perfect spot to relax and take in the natural beauty of Guimaras. The cove is quite popular, and it’s easy to see why— whether you're swimming, lounging, or just taking a stroll, the beach offers a perfect slice of paradise. 💨 Guimaras Windmills. These towering structures are not only fascinating to look at but also play a big role in providing sustainable energy for the island. Standing next to them, you can really appreciate their size and the impact they have on the environment. 🌲 Manmade Forest. Walking through this lush green area, you can hardly believe that it was once a barren land. The locals have done an amazing job transforming it into a vibrant forest. It’s a great place to take a leisurely walk and enjoy the cool shade and fresh air. 🥭 Of course, no trip to Guimaras would be complete without a stop at The Pitstop to try their famous mango pizza. Yes, you read that right—mango pizza! It might sound unusual, but the combination of sweet mangoes and savory pizza is surprisingly delicious. It’s a must-try for anyone visiting the island. Before heading back, we made sure to stock up on more Guimaras-made pasalubong. The island is known for its mango products, but there’s so much more to take home, from handicrafts to locally made snacks. It’s the perfect way to remember the trip and share a piece of Guimaras with friends and family. Our Guimaras tour was a perfect mix of relaxation, adventure, and food. Every place we visited had something unique to offer, and the island's charm is something we'll never forget. If you ever find yourself in the Philippines, make sure to add Guimaras to your itinerary—you won’t regret it!
