My Role - Piano 조유진 Cover | Brian Moon

January 5 of last year. On my way to the church I was serving, I listened to this song and wept uncontrollably in my car. And the final message I proclaimed there was simple: “God is 100% holy. We are 100% sinners. But God is 100% love.” At the church I am currently pastoring, Hillside, I continue my ministry based on that same declaration I cried out back then: Holiness, Humility, and Love. At that time, Dongju Yoon’s poem “Foreword” (Seosi) brought me great comfort: Until the day I die, May I have not a speck of shame when I gaze up at the sky. Even at the faintest wind stirring the leaves, I was troubled. With a heart that sings of the stars, I must love all that is dying. And I must walk the path given to me. Tonight again, the stars are brushed by the wind. Whenever I see the stars quietly shining in the night sky in front of Hillside Church, my heart still feels tender— and at peace.
