Hi friends! 🤗 In this episode, I continue the restoration of the Renault 5 GT Turbo engine that has been swapped into a DAF 55 project car. After rebuilding the short block in the previous video, it’s time to move on to the long block assembly. I start off by rebuilding the cylinder head, ensuring that everything is clean, resurfaced, and ready for reassembly. Once the cylinder head is installed, I go through the process of adjusting the valve clearance. With the top end of the engine coming together, I finish things off by installing a freshly painted valve cover, giving the engine a clean and restored look.
