Dead By Daylight is the worst video game I have ever played. I regret spending all the time and money I have on it, and I explain why in this video. If you don't want to watch a 30 minute video and want the sparknotes, here they are The game is full of annoying "unquality" of life features. The game is a horrible pay to win grind with overpriced cosmetics. Survivor gameplay is half doing nothing, holding W. I think survivor is boring and lame. Killer is held back by the horrible balance of the game. Addons are a horrible system that doesn't work, they are horrible balanced and the rarities are meaningless. People only play this game because of the characters, not because of the gameplay. The game is super buggy. The community is super entitled and toxic. The developers are SO incompetent at anything, they have no concept of balance, it takes them years to add anything, every update is full of bugs, they only make bad decisions. This game is a massive waste of time, is horrible to new players, and is just not fun because everyone takes it too seriously. Edit: The one thing I will concede on being "wrong" with in this video is when I talk about settings changing every time I launch the video. This is technically my fault, as I edited the game settings in the files, but I only had to do this because it took the devs 8 years to add vsync and fps limiter options, so before that point you had to edit the files yourself to change them, which is what caused my settings file to be read only. I will only half concede on this argument being wrong because yes it is my fault, but I had to do it because the devs couldn't add basic features for years. (and the only real reason I put it in the video was because I only reinstalled it for this video, and didnt really care to fix it because after I got the footage for this video I uninstalled the game again)
