Home Theater hobbyist Brad Horstkotte shares insight into the conversion of his detached garage into a Home Theater with AVS Forum Editor Scott Wilkinson. Brad Horstkotte likes to build things. As an accomplished woodworker, he enjoys making electric guitars of his own fanciful designs, and he did not hesitate to build an entire home theater in one half of a four-car garage behind his house in Los Angeles, CA. Not only did he finish the room by himself after contractors installed the basic framing, he also built the front speakers and subwoofers. Talk about DIY! I visited Brad in his home theater to talk about the process and check out the result, which is mighty impressive.
