This is an introduction to using the Prime Mover plugin to migrate sites. In this example, you will learn how to migrate a WordPress single-site to a new multi-site sub-site installation. Prime Mover can be used to migrate/backup sites in the following scenarios: 1.) Single site to Single site. 2.) Single site to Multi-site sub-site (illustrated in this video) 3.) Multi-site to another multi-site sub-site. 4.) Multi-site to single-site installation. It is fully compatible with Linux and Windows server. It will also support both remote server and localhost server migrations. It can also be used as a backup plugin to take snapshots of the site and restore it to the same site.
