In this video, I’m sharing 7 jazz licks for a II-V-I progression, each from a different jazz standard. First, I play all seven ideas. Then I take one lick and practice it in all keys to build real improvisation vocabulary. Finally, I choose another lick and gradually transform it into improvisation by making small variations and developing the phrase. The goal? Not just to memorize licks - but to turn them into flexible musical language you can actually use on your accordion.
