A Care Home Takes Shape From The Air | Hartwood: Planning Appeal to First Construction (Part 1)

In this first part of a new video series, I document the early stages of a major care home development taking place just one street away from my home, on the edge of Cannock Chase. The project follows the successful planning appeal for a new care home, led by Deeley Construction for Care UK, and marks a significant change to what was once a quiet corner of the Wildwood Estate. Using DJI drones (Mini 4 Pro and Air 3s) for aerial footage, this video tracks progress from the cleared site through groundwork, foundations, services, and up to the point where the first supporting walls begin to rise at ground level. This series will continue over the projects months and years ahead, capturing how the development grows and how the scale of the build becomes increasingly apparent within its surrounding neighbourhood. ▶️ Part 2 will follow as construction accelerates and the structure starts to rise above ground level.
