I've finally joined the dark side... Every season in competitive pokemon, there is multiple stall teams with pokemon such as Ho-Oh, Gliscor, Blissey/Chansey, Dondozo and more placing in the top placing teams for the season. So today i finally caved in and decided to try it out. The objective of a stall team is simple - end the battle with more pokemon alive than your opponent. Whether that's through running the timer down, gradual toxic and hazards chip with Stealth Rock, T Spikes, Spikes etc, or whether its through wittling down your opponent with passive moves like Seismic Toss whilst gaining gradual HP with Leftovers and healing moves like recover. You're not going to "sweep" your opponent with attacks, but slowly sponging hits and wittling away. It's boring and very tedious, but the results are undeniable.
