Even though this is a "professional athletic product" for professional athletes, its also the next evolution of tech and sneakers, so I am all in in checking these out and pre-ordered the $350 sneaker already. In this video I wanted to discuss my initial impressions of this sneaker from the press release, and break them out into some pros and cons! Lets start off with the pros! Some of the Pros that I Like Self lacing first time on a BBall shoe! Self lacing step in experience from the Hyperadapt was dope, expecting the same from this. App integration could be cool custom LED colors! First step (literally) in the direction of something potentially game changing. mcfly as can be. Wireless charging pad! flyknit shroud makes sense for breathability Battery life up to 2 weeks. Style looks good! Conforming fit with quad axial material? so will a size 12 work for a 10 footer lol. The testing graphic is cool! Adapt by the Numbers: 30,000 Impact pulses at 78- pounds of force 2,900 continuous lacing cycles from tight to loose 40,000 button presses 5,000 cycles of flexing from left to right 140F at 85% humidity doused with nearly 80 gallons of water in 3 minutes 300 miles of running Some potential cons Cushion setup is questionable, using just Cushlon, not React or, zoom etc.' Fit is listed as NARROW, which could be a bummer for those that didnt read Price point is $350, which is much better than the $720 of the hyperadapt!, but still expensive. Shroud covering up the tech.. no one can really see the tech in action? charging a shoe in general means more dedicated space, would be nice if it was solar...
